The HRFC’s indoor flag rugby league kicks off it’s second season this Saturday, returning to the Queen City Indoor Soccer Centre. (This is NOT the indoor fields by Mosaic Stadium…)

The format will remain largely the same – and a reminder on the “no pushing” rule that was added last year… It’s quite tempting, but those walls are closer than they appear and the nets are made of surprisingly sturdy steel, right Krienke?) Depending on numbers, teams of between 5 and 8 players will compete in a full field, 30 minute game of flag rugby. There will be two games in the night, with plenty of fun and exercise for everyone.

No experience necessary – this is a NON-CONTACT, men’s flag rugby league.

While this is a recruiting tool for the Highlanders Men’s Rugby Team – you do not have to have played rugby, nor do you need to commit to playing rugby in the Men’s full contact summer league.

Come on out for some fun, camaraderie, and exercise this Saturday.
